The Pole Vault Carolina Challenge is a series of 3 meets.

Competing athletes have been grouped into 4 teams of athletes across experience levels.

Beginning with The Pole Vault Carolina TAKEOFF Magazine Invitational  on Friday Jan. 29 and ending with The Pole Vault Carolina Indoor Championships on February 26, athletes will compete in the team format.

Here are the details:
Each team will select a team captain.

Among themselves, each team must come up with a team name, coordinate what they will wear, and provide a playlist (must be CLEAN) to be used during their flight.

In addition to the individual heights that each participant will achieve, they will be able to score points for their team using the following criteria:

1. Missing at a PR: 2 points
2. Tying a PR: 4 points

3. New PR: 10 points
4. The loudest team will earn an additional 5 points per meet!
5. The team with the most creativity will earn an additional 5 points (make signs, bring noisemakers, etc) per meet.

6. Teams with 6 or more athletes in attendance at each meet will earn an additional 4 points.

2 teams will compete in each flight.

The team that accrues the most points in the next 3 meets: the TAKEOFF Magazine and Valentine Invitationals and The Pole Vault Carolina Indoor Championships, will win 2021 Pole Vault Carolina gear, that will be exclusive to the winners and not available for retail sale.

Let’s get LOUD!!
