Junior Ben Altenburg of Northwood High School is the NCHSAA 3A Outdoor State Champion!
This is Ben’s 3rd state championship title in the pole vault! Ben improved his personal record to 16’2″.
Also at the state meet, Ben finished #2 in the long jump and #2 in the 110 hurdles; he and his relay team placed first in the 4X400, earning him the Most Valuable Player award!
