For the past 3 years, it has been our privilege to coach recent Cary Academy graduate, Carter Mathis. Extremely athletic, Carter had already met with success in wrestling, basketball, and soccer before attempting track and field as a high school freshman. Pole Vault Carolina Athletes in the Outdoor Track and Field Championships

Seventeen of our vaulters competed this past weekend at the NCHSAA and NCISAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships.   70% of these athletes went from zero pole vaulting to the state meet in less than 12 months! When recent Cary Academy graduate Kreager Tabor joined Pole Vault Carolina, she brought great energy to the club. It was a cold Sunday in February of 2013 when Panther Creek sophomore Stephen Risk picked up a pole for the first time.
