The Pole Vault Carolina ULTIMATE Summer Camp!

Where beginners become advanced and the good become great! Summer camp at Pole Vault Carolina is an intensive study and practice of the pole vault. In a positive teaching environment, athletes will practice gymnastics, Olympic lifts, hurdles, running mechanics, and dynamic drills. They will learn all phases of the pole vault and will take plenty of jumps! Jonathan Horn – NCISAA Div. III State Champion in Pole Vault and Long Jump!

Jon Horn won gold in the pole vault and long jump, and silver in the 110m hurdles and 300 m hurdles at the NCISAA Division III State Championships! Jon PR’d in the vault with a massive jump at 14’6″. He is currently the highest ranked pole vaulter across all classifications in North Carolina. Thanks to all the points Jon scored (36!) the Burlington Christian team placed second overall in the Division III championships!

Julianna Hallyburton – TISAC Conference Champion!

JULIANNA HALLYBURTON won it ALL at the TISAC* championships! On day one, Julianna broke the conference record by 14 inches, and jumped a new personal best of 11’8″! Beginner’s Clinics at Pole Vault Carolina!

Athletes will learn the fundamentals of the pole vault in an encouraging environment! We start new athletes in the Beginner’s Clinics, and build their confidence through the practice of dynamic drills that are the foundation of the vault. They will complete jumps by the end of the session. Beginner’s Clinics are currently held on Sundays at 3 pm, and are 90 minutes in length. *Sessions are limited to 8 athletes. There is no pole sharing and masks are required.
