The Pole Vault Carolina Fall Decathlon!
Training for a decathlon is an excellent opportunity to increase athleticism and prepare to compete in the indoor track season. We will offer decathlon training sessions on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm at Pole Vault Carolina. Pole Vault Carolina will be hosting a boys and girls decathlon in late October/early November! We are finalizing the dates with Cary Academy where the decathlon will take place. Athletes will be trained in hurdles, long jump, high jump, starts, shot put, discus, and javelin. …

The Pole Vault Carolina Decathlon – More Than Sport!
Sixteen athletes competed in the Pole Vault Carolina Decathlon last weekend and truly wowed us with their tenacity. Fifteen of those athletes had never attempted a decathlon before. We asked each athlete to set a goal to finish, and they did! There were many highlights, and one stands out above the rest: our youngest decathlete was 9 year-old Grant Elliott.
