SENIOR RECOGNITION DAY 2019!! ??

In November 2015, with 6 athletes, 10 poles, no money, and a dream, we opened this facility for Pole Vault Carolina. We started with a 90 day lease to get us through the indoor season, a time when we traditionally cancelled 60% of our practices due to weather. ? The class of 2019 is the first group of athletes to come up through our program, jumping exclusively at our indoor club.

Pole vault is not a sprint, but an arduous journey where you are tested often. ??What an incredible adventure we took together! What an extraordinary environment you have built!

Thank you for trusting us with your athletic careers, and for giving us your best. You made us better. ? Our class of seniors has accepted over $500K in athletic scholarship to continue vaulting collegiately.

Lakelyn Bass will compete in the multis for Campbell University.

Ana Hill will pole vault for UNC Charlotte.

Wilson Barr has laid down his poles (at least for now) to study computer science at UNC Chapel Hill.

Christian Sodano will compete for the University of Chicago.

Brendon Hodge will compete in the multis for Wingate University.

Ellis Woodyard will pole vault for Hampton University.

Jake Rodgers will study pre med at Appalachian State University.

Will Stupalsky will compete in the multis for the University of South Dakota.

Gracie Arrington will study engineering at VA Tech.

Maura Lane will pole vault for Campbell University.

Elise Hall will compete for her school of choice.

Seniors, you will be MISSED! We wish for you to remember to never ever give up on your dreams. We hope you will always come back to your Pole Vault Carolina home!
