On Friday February 3, 2023, Pole Vault Carolina will host The Last Chance Invitational. If you have not yet qualified for the state meet, invite your school coach to attend to verify your mark. On November 21, 2015, we opened Pole Vault Carolina’s indoor facility! We had 6 athletes, 10 poles, no money, and a dream. We signed a 90-day lease to get us through the winter, a time when we usually canceled 60% of our practices due to weather. Seven years later, we are home to 33 state champions, and 72 national qualifiers. We have coached 40 athletes into collegiate athletics, and numerous vaulters to personal success. The Pole Vault Carolina Fall Decathlon!
Training for a decathlon is an excellent opportunity to increase athleticism and prepare to compete in the indoor track season. We will offer decathlon training sessions on Monday evenings from 6-8 pm at Pole Vault Carolina. Pole Vault Carolina will be hosting a boys and girls decathlon in late October/early November! We are finalizing the dates with Cary Academy where the decathlon will take place. Athletes will be trained in hurdles, long jump, high jump, starts, shot put, discus, and javelin. …
