It was exactly 6 years ago that we signed the lease for our indoor facility. We had been renting the track at a local high school, and for a time, jumping in our side yard!
We only intended to have the space through the cold and rainy indoor season, but athletes kept showing up for practice. The ability to train independent of the weather meant that our vaulters benefitted from consistent practices and later that season, performed at the highest level in the history of the club at the time.
