A couple of years ago, Coach Jose made a promise to a high school hurdler who had a dream of competing in college. He was not recruited, and attended community college his first year. Coach promised he would attend a college meet of his, believing the young man would be picked up by a school.
Last week, Coach Jose had the opportunity to see Kenley compete for Appalachian State University. Coach is proud to know the journey that took Kenley to the starting line. Kenley paid an incredible price to achieve his goal. Way to go Kenley and way to go Coach!
