Pole Vault Carolina senior Jonathan Horn cleared 16′ at The Pole Vault Carolina April Invitational landing a spot on the all-time list in North Carolina! A student at Burlington Christian Academy, Jon will compete for Duke University in the fall.
On Saturday April 16, our Pole Vault Carolina community came together for a purpose higher than the bar – to gather donations and raise money for refugee children in Ukraine. We opened the event with a video message from Steve Chappell of UCS Spirit and a letter from Ukrainian Olympian Yana Hladiychuk. Julianna won the state meet in the pole vault, and placed third with her teammates in the 4 X 100! Two days later she was named MVP at the Durham Academy Awards Night for her contributions to the track team this season!
