Cardinal Gibbons sophomore, Tessa Kranick is the 4A NCHSAA Girls Indoor State Champion! Tessa maintained her composure during a jump off with competitor, Noelle Childs. The contest ended in a tie and both athletes claimed the state title. Huge congratulations to both athletes! Tessa is the 49th state champion to train at Pole Vault Carolina!

The 2025 Pole Vault Carolina 3 Kings Invitational!

We had an outstanding meet at The 2025 Pole Vault Carolina 3 Kings Invitational, with an astonishing 17 meet personal bests! That number includes multiple PR’s by individual athletes. Apex Friendship sophomore Silas Minh jumped 6 new personal records! He entered the meet with a PR of 8′, and finished the meet with a new record of 10’9″!

What is a Beginner’s Clinic at Pole Vault Carolina?

A Beginner’s Clinic at Pole Vault Carolina is where to learn the fundamentals of pole vaulting. Athletes will learn basic drills in an encouraging environment.  By the end of practice, athletes will be jumping over bungees.  (Yes, they really will.) 28 national qualifiers! 8 state champions! 5 athletes were recruited into collegiate athletics, all of whom had committed to practicing 3 days per week. 93% of our athletes improved their personal bests with an average improvement of 14.75″. The club improved a collective 78’6″ as of July 21. This is outstanding and we look forward to your greatness in the coming season!

Pole Vault Carolina hosts Beginner’s Clinics most Sundays from 11 am – 1 pm!  Beginner’s Clinics are designed for the beginning vaulter, or the athlete who has been away from the sport for awhile.
