The second weekend in February marks the finale of the high school indoor season with  a state meet at JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem. Pole Vault Carolina athletes represented themselves, their schools, and their club, with strong showings.

East Chapel Hill freshman Skyler Noble cleared 9’6”, a 6” PR, that ties the school record. Skyler is ranked first among freshman girls in the state.

Enloe senior Chloe Franks jumped 10’, a 12” PR that soundly beats the school record. Chloe is tied for 3rd among senior girls in the state.

Midori Kirby, a junior at Panther Creek, vaulted 10’6”, which was a 12” PR. Midori has raised her PR by 18” in the last 2 weeks. She is the 4th highest ranked junior in the state.

Broughton senior Matt Dillon cleared 13’. Matt is ranked #8 in the state for senior boys.

Dillon Kopec, a senior from Chapel Hill, tied his indoor PR of 12’6”.

Trevor Justice, a junior from Jordan High School tied his 2 week-old PR of 13’. Trevor is tied for #2 in the state for juniors.

Caleb Wright, also a junior from Jordan High School, jumped 11’6”, tying his personal record. He is tied for 10th place among juniors in North Carolina.

Brett Parks, a junior at White Oaks in Fayetteville, cleared 12’. He is tied with Trevor in the #2 spot.

Our athletes competed well, and more importantly, they supported one another. We are proud.
