For the past 2 years Dallas Vann has been a force at Pole Vault Carolina. He attacks his jumps with determination and natural athletic ability. Every jump counts, which is how Dallas improved 12″ this past season.
Dallas is a recent graduate of Corinth Holders High School, where he also swam and ran cross country. He competed in the pole vault at the 2015 NCHSAA Indoor State Meet and tied Corinth Holders’ pole vault record. Dallas managed his sports and academics while holding down a job throughout the year.
Dallas will pursue a degree at Johnston Community College, disappointing those coaches who hoped he would compete for them.
We will miss Dallas’ fun-loving spirit, willingness to help out in the club, and dogged pursuit of the next height. Whatever is next for Dallas, he already has within him the seeds of success.
