Pole Vault Carolina Senior Dallas Vann

For the past 2 years Dallas Vann has been a force at Pole Vault Carolina. He attacks his jumps with determination and natural athletic ability.  Every jump counts, which is how Dallas improved 12″ this past season.

Dallas is a recent graduate of Corinth Holders High School, where he also swam and ran cross country. He competed in the pole vault at the 2015 NCHSAA Indoor State Meet and tied Corinth Holders’ pole vault record. Dallas managed his sports and academics while holding down a job throughout the year.

Dallas will pursue a degree at Johnston Community College, disappointing those coaches who hoped he would compete for them.

We will miss Dallas’ fun-loving spirit, willingness to help out in the club, and dogged pursuit of the next height. Whatever is next for Dallas, he already has within him the seeds of success.…

Pole Vault Carolina Senior Kreager Taber

When recent Cary Academy graduate Kreager Tabor joined Pole Vault Carolina, she brought great energy to the club. In addition to being a pole vaulter, Kreager is a triple jumper, high jumper, relay runner, and captain of the Cary Academy track and field team.

Kreager improved 12” in her last season and holds the Cary Academy record in the vault. She is the state champion for the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association division.

Kreager is headed to Middlebury College where she will represent her school in the pole vault and triple jump. Kreager was recently named July Calendar Girl by Vaulter Magazine. Thank you, Kreager, for being part of the Pole Vault Carolina family and for lighting up every practice with your support of the other athletes. You will be missed!…
