Antonio San Miguel places 4th at AAU Junior Olympics, earns All American status!

Pole Vault Carolina athlete Antonio San Miguel represented Puerto Rico in the 15/16 Boys category of the 2023 AAU Junior Olympics. Antonio jumped a personal best of 4.25m, and placed 4th, earning All American status. When he finished competing, Antonio grabbed his Puerto Rican flag and ran to the tent where the athletes from Puerto Rico and their families were seated. Summer attended Athens Drive High School in Raleigh where she competed in several events. Summer’s personal best in the pole vault is 12 feet.
